Mission
By God's grace, FOMI assists and equips the church in fulfilling "The Great Commission" through Marketplace Evangelism and Discipleship.
Vision
By God's grace, we commit to train-up missionaries in marketplace evangelism and discipleship, and help support and edify local, Independent, Fundamental Baptist Churches in the United States and around the World. We endeavor to raise up ten (10) more missionaries in the next year to help serve the local church in accomplishing "The Great Commission". We also endeavor to reach all 50 states and at least 10 foreign countries within the next 5 years through the local church.
Purpose
As an independent Baptist organization, the purpose of Fishers of Men, International is:
To Exalt
the name of our LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ in every aspect of our individual walk and corporate work by walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and in truth (1Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 1:18; John 4:23-24; Ephesians 4:18-19).
To Evangelize
the lost (unbelievers) by fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ through witnessing at fairs and markets across all 50 States of America and around the world (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 1:8).
To Equip
local independent, fundamental Baptist churches by establishing an effective evangelistic outreach at fairs, markets, and in personal evangelistic work through training, assistance, and providing the right tools to help share their faith and follow-up techniques in discipleship (Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-12).
To Edify
the local church and their pastor by encouraging them to become more effective in fulfilling the great commission at fairs by building confidence through exposure and one-on-one training with an experienced FOMI missionary and by placing new converts in local fundamental Baptist churches (Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:12-16).
To Expand
the church by commissioning and supporting missionaries for marketplace evangelism and discipleship. Endeavoring to encourage others to join in on the fight to spread the Gospel to every creature (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 1:8).
